CERESINE WAX
The Ceresine Wax available today is a blend of petroleum wax products. The name Ceresine is a reference to its origin as a bitumen coal mining by-product once obtained from Eastern Europe.
Unitedwaxes.com Ceresine Waxes are mixtures produced using paraffin and microcrystalline waxes, custom blended to create a multi functional value-added product. Ceresine Wax is a white, odorless and tasteless solid. In personal care applications it is valued as an emollient and for its film-forming properties.
Ceresine Wax also will help to modify viscosity in liquid and semi solid formulations and desirable for its structure forming properties in stick product systems. It is useful in binding with and stabilizing the oil portion of an emulsion and as a melt point modifier.
